Reader Question: Ok, I did the free gasoline card offer that you guys are talking about. I answered the questions and filled out the form, so how long does it take to get the card in the mail?

Jenny, this site is NOT affiliated with that offer, we are just talking about it and letting people post their comments and feedback. It took about 2 weeks for my card to arrive in the mail. I am not sure if that is an average time period or not. Anyone else have any info to report?

Reader Question: So, how do I find the cheapest gas prices on the Internet? I also visited gasbuddy but I have seen cheaper rates just driving around town, so I am not sure how often those rates are updated. Does the government update that site or just reader input?

Reader Follow Up: Just wanted to comment on the free gas card offer….yes, it does work. I got my card in the mail today. yes, it did take a few minutes to compete the question part of the offer…but it was not that big of deal. Heck, for $250 I will answer a few questions anyday!

I agree that the net is totally full of scams and misleading information but I have tried this offer for myself and it worked for me. I did have to answer some questions and fill out a quick survey to get the free gas card…but it was FREE, and free usually costs something…in this case, a few minutes of my time. You can only get one card per person…sigh. I would do it again if I could. I like driving on someone elses gasoline!
